Fitter – Casual opportunities in the Major Shutdowns Department. Location: Mackay & Coalfields. Work type: Casual. Categories: Mechanical Fitters. We currently have casual prospects available for Mechanical Fitters within our Major Shutdowns Department, with a strong pipeline of ongoing work. We are seeking experienced Fitters to join our team across various roles throughout the Bowen Basin. With multiple shutdown projects scheduled and plenty of work ahead, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent employment within a dynamic and supportive environment. These opportunities offer the chance to work on major projects, gain valuable shutdown experience, and be part of a professional and safety-focused team.

The Successful Applicant Will Have
Relevant Trade Qualification
Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
Current Drivers Licence
Working from Heights
Confined Space
Gas Test Atmosphere
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet site requirements
