Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver person‑centred cleaning and related household services to Community Care clients in their own homes in line with individual care plans.
Complete scheduled tasks efficiently and to a high standard within allocated timeframes while adapting to each client’s individual needs and preferences.
Build positive, respectful relationships with clients through qualified communication and a caring, person‑centred approach that promotes trust and independence.
Empower clients to live more independently, safely and meaningfully within their own setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Location – Sunshine Coast and surrounds.
Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
Ability to provide quality cleaning services using a variety of cleaning equipment and approved chemicals.
Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision to meet customer service requirements.
Currently studying CertificateIII Individual Support (Ageing) or willing to progress into this. Chance for eligible candidates to progress through to a paid traineeship to complete a CertificateIII in Individual Support and become a fully qualified Care Worker.
Previous experience across the aged care or disability sectors as a Domestic Assistant.
Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) and relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
