As an ASIC Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulatory requirements by performing daily internal and external client money reconciliations, monitoring compliance activities, and supporting ASIC-related projects. This role requires solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and review daily internal and external client money reconciliations within agreed deadlines.
Challenge and enhance internal and external processes to ensure compliance with ASIC client money rules and industry best practices.
Confidently generate daily Client Money reports using automated platforms, ensuring all outstanding items are monitored and escalated efficiently.
Assist the Finance Team in overseeing day‑to‑day client money safeguarding controls and effectiveness.
Support annual finance and compliance reviews and liaise with auditors and ASIC as required.
Responsible for preparing and submitting timely returns and reports required under ASIC obligations.
Assist finance in monitoring and reporting tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Solid knowledge of ASIC client money rules and regulatory framework.
Experience in reconciliations, compliance monitoring, or financial reporting.
Solid analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
