Position

Diesel Fitter – Site Support Team (NT) – Permanent 14:14 alternating FIFO roster. Based out of Brisbane, Darwin or Alice Springs.

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair equipment – carry out warranty repairs and scheduled maintenance on CAT and Elphinstone underground mining machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults – conduct diagnostic assessments and identify solutions to maximise machine availability and reliability.
Complete quality reporting – prepare accurate condition, failure and warranty reports in line with business and manufacturer requirements.
Manage warranty processes – ensure warranty claims and supporting documentation are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Support customer performance – work closely with customers to maximise equipment production and operational efficiency.
Provide technical expertise – deliver customer support while sharing product knowledge and maintenance recommendations.

14:14 alternating roster giving equal time on and off site.

Qualifications
Trade qualified – relevant Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification.
CAT experience preferred – previous experience working on Caterpillar equipment and CAT diagnostic systems.
Robust communicator – well‑developed communication and customer‑service skills with a customer‑focused approach.
Self‑motivated and reliable – able to work effectively both within a team workplace and autonomously.
Safety focused – committed to maintaining a strong safety culture and contributing to a Zero Harm workplace.
Positive attitude – proactive work ethic, continuous improvement mindset and punctual approach.
