Allmen Industrial Services Pty Ltd is an established and well-known Labour Hire Company, proudly servicing BlueScope Steel and their related contractors in Heavy Industry for over 50 years.
BlueScope’s welded beams and columns are known for their size and strength. They are designed to hold large loads in critical projects such as bridges, high-rise buildings, shopping centres, car parks, stadiums and mining infrastructure. Due to recent growth, BlueScope Steel’s Welded Products department which manufacture these world-renowned beams is seeking a Boilermaker for their Quality Control team.
This role will form part of the Operational crew which will alternate their shift pattern with one week of Dayshifts 7am – 3pm and one week of afternoon shifts 3pm – 11pm Monday to Friday, performing quality checks after the Steel Beams have been fabricated. If quality has been compromised,
then mediation work will be required before the product is approved for dispatch.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Trade Qualification in Engineering – Fabrication C3 (Boilermaking) or similar.
Experience in Heavy Engineering Fabrication and Welding
The availability to work Afternoon Shift
Solid positive safety attitude.
Take pride in your craft
Be able to pass pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol Screening.
This role is for an immediate start pending your availability, in return you will attract excellent hourly rates with shift loading's and a potential to attract overtime with a view to go Permanent for the right candidate.
