Platform Engineer – Cloud Platform

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud platforms that enable application development and deployment. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions and drive automation across the platform lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
Support cloud-native architectures including microservices and containerisation.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Deploy and manage container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Support orchestration and scaling of applications in hybrid or multi-cloud settings.
Monitor platform performance, reliability, and availability.
Implement logging and monitoring using tools like Prometheus,



Grafana, CloudWatch.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications
Robust experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering.
Expertise in CI/CD, IaC, and automation.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containers.

Security Clearance

Current Baseline Security Clearance and willingness to upgrade to NV1. Australian Citizens with ability to obtain a clearance considered.

Location

Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
