Job Title: LEV Testing Engineer

Location: Northampton, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k – £45k + Training & Benefits

Our client is looking for an experienced LEV Testing Engineer, who can hit the ground running and competently test LEV systems across a range of client sites. You will be joining a privately owned outfit who specialise in LEV and Ventilation. Due to the nature of their contracts, they can also consider candidates who are based in / around the Midlands, so access to the M1 would be beneficial. Ideally, candidates will be based around: Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Daventry, Brackley, Banbury, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Huntingdon, St Neots, Bicester, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Hitchin, Peterborough, Biggleswade, Bedford, Sandy, Milton Keynes, Luton, Watford, Oxford, Witney, Stratford-upon-Avon, Slough, Reading.

Experience & Qualifications
Experienced in undertaking LEV testing across a range of client sites
Qualified with the BOHS P601 as a minimum
Fully conversant in technical guidelines, such as COSHH and HSG 258
Thorough understanding of face fit testing
Able to work to agreed deadlines




Valuable literacy and numeracy skills
Comfortable using IT software to complete reports

The Role
Travelling to client sites and carrying out thorough testing on LEV extraction systems
Component replacements such as filters and fans
Meeting clients on site to discuss technical findings and provide tailored advice
Being responsible for own tools and equipment
Completing regular and accurate service reports
Keeping up-to-date with any industry guideline changes
Ensuring to work to agreed deadlines
Adapting to changing appointment requirements
Always representing the company in a positive and qualified manner
