We have an exciting prospect for a disputes lawyer (PQE 2‑5) to join a busy and energetic construction disputes practice. This role based in Melbourne focuses on litigation and dispute resolution within the construction and infrastructure industry in Victoria and interstate.
Responsibilities
Carriage of disputes matters, including managing case strategy and supporting clients on litigation and arbitration.
Engage with clients, providing legal advice and maintaining strong skilled relationships.
Collaborate with senior lawyers, contributing to team discussions and case management.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Maintain a commercial approach to all matters, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
Qualifications
Minimum 2‑5 years PQE with a construction disputes background.
Strong advocacy skills and ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
Superior drafting ability and solid attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Resilience and commitment to excellence.
Ability to manage client relationships and support junior members.
