We are seeking a dedicated Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit Greencross Ballarat team! The ideal candidate will possess a solid passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
About your Recent Job:
Casual role with the potential for a Permanent Part time role for the right candidate
No Afterhours or Sundays
Undertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care,
and pathology
Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
The skills & experience you will bring:
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with a minimum 2+ years' of clinical experience
Surgical experience with the ability to monitor anaesthetics competently is essential
Experience with Team Based Care highly regarded
Calm, mature and empathetic
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
