Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on various metals including stainless steel and aluminium
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld procedures
Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, and cleaning prior to welding
Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation
Follow workplace health & safety (WHS)



policies and procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with fabricators, supervisors, and production teams

Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
Robust ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience with thin gauge and precision welding preferred
High attention to detail and workmanship quality
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Licences
Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade) preferred
Welding certifications highly regarded
