We're seeking a Payroll Officer to join a busy and team-oriented team on a part-time basis (4 days per week) - starting immediately. This is an initial 8 week temporary contract with potential to extend or go longer term for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven end-to-end payroll experience who enjoys working in a rapid-paced workplace and is looking to further develop their skills within Payroll.

The Role

Reporting into an experienced payroll leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
End-to-end payroll processing
Interpreting awards, agreements and payroll legislation
Managing payroll queries and stakeholder relationships
Maintaining employee records and payroll data
Payroll reconciliations and reporting




Supporting payroll projects and process improvements
Dealing with multiple payroll cycles (weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly)

About You

To Be Successful, You'll Have
Experience with end-to-end payroll management in a
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
A proactive and adaptable approach to work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience working in a complex payroll environment with multiple awards

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can confidently switch between competing priorities, remain organised under pressure, and thrive in an environment where no two days look the same.
