Located in Elizabeth South, the Rose & Crown Hotel is a bustling local favourite north of Adelaide. We feature a vibrant entertainment calendar, a relaxed and friendly Sports Bar, and 11 modern, on‑site accommodation rooms powered by Nightcap Hotels.

About The Role

The role involves leading the team, ensuring smooth pub operations, and maintaining a vibrant atmosphere.

A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager
Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a excellent vibe
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent Requirements
This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).



Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You
You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
You’ve learned from outstanding managers and now you’re ready to step up
You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
You’ve got a current RSA, RSG/RCG and RP Badge as per state requirements
