Our role: A dynamic, hands‑on people qualified will support the Manager of People & Culture and lead the day‑to‑day operations of the newly created People, Culture and Safety Coordinator role. Responsibilities include providing advice and support to line managers; coordinating recruitment, selection, performance management, WHS compliance, and overseeing L&D; program delivery.
You will work closely with line managers and the P&C; team to deliver effective strategies that foster a positive workplace culture and support organisational goals.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Tertiary HR qualifications (or substantial experience in a similar role – at least 5 years).
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver organisational objectives.
Knowledge of current state and federal employment legislation and industrial instruments, with the ability to interpret them.
Experience managing employee issues.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
A positive, proactive and continuous‑improvement mindset.
Ideally,
previous experience in Local Government and postgraduate qualifications.

$98,303 – $114,730 base salary per annum (depending on experience and skills).
