Task & responsibilities
Cleaning interior surfaces including floors, carpets, walls, windows, and fittings
Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors
Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces
Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Using cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety standards




Reporting maintenance issues or hazards
Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
Following workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and company standards

Qualification & experience

Essential:
Completion of secondary education or equivalent
Previous experience of minimum 1–3 years in commercial, industrial, office, or facilities cleaning is highly regarded
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and repetitive movements
Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Desirable:
Experience using commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum systems
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control procedures
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport
National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (where required for specific client sites)
First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
