Aurizon is seeking a commercially minded Finance Lead Revenue to join our Finance Partnering Bulk team. This is an exciting prospect for a high-performing finance professional looking to broaden their influence, lead business improvement initiatives and partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes across the business.
In this role, you'll move beyond traditional reporting and analysis, using data-driven insights to influence decision making, optimise business performance and identify opportunities that maximise value while minimising risk. You'll also have the opportunity to coach and develop others while building solid relationships across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Deliver insightful financial, operational and commercial analysis to support business decisions.
Lead revenue reporting and performance analysis for key stakeholders.
Ensure the accuracy,
completeness and timely delivery of revenue and invoicing processes, identifying and resolving discrepancies where required.
Drive strong financial controls and governance to support revenue integrity and minimise commercial risk.
Identify and drive process improvement and business optimisation initiatives from concept through to implementation, including technology system enhancement.
Partner with leaders across the business to influence outcomes and support strategic decision-making.
Provide coaching, guidance and capability development within the team.
Build solid internal and external stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
