The Nursing Services and Productivity Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking an Administration Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities
Provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential administration support utilising computer skills and administrative experience to support clinical areas and complete assigned tasks, particularly in staffing, human resources and information management systems. Analyse information and problem solve to meet timeframes and outcomes.
Communicate and liaise with the Nurse Managers/Nurse Unit Managers to support clinical areas and the nursing workforce.

About The Team

The Nursing Services and Productivity Unit supports the Mackay Hospital and Health Service with a specific focus on the Nursing and Midwifery workforce. The unit provides business planning, support to nurses, Managers, Directors, Executive leaders, and other key stakeholders utilising many different IT systems.





The Nursing Service and Productivity team also coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment of base grade registered nurses and midwives for the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
