About The Role

As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients, who have acquired spinal cord injuries, with their daily tasks in our clients’ homes such as:

- Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
- Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
- Basic wound care and self-medication.
- Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.




- Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities

Essential Skills And Qualifications

- Full training provided - Whilst experience in disability or aged care,regarded, is not a requirement for the role.
- A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle is required
- A smartphone device
- Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
