Grow your career in financial planning with a boutique, independent advice practice.
At Addi House, we believe great financial planning is built on exceptional client service, technical excellence and genuine relationships.
We're looking for someone who wants more than just another administration role. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside our Practice Principal, supporting clients while developing the practical skills and technical knowledge that will support a rewarding long-term career in financial planning.
Whether your future lies in client service, operations, paraplanning or financial advice, you'll gain valuable experience across every stage of the advice process while being part of a practice that genuinely invests in its people.
Financial planning is ultimately about people. Technical expertise is essential, but we believe the greatest value we can provide comes from genuinely caring about our clients, communicating with empathy and clarity, and looking for ways to make their lives easier.
If that sounds like the way you approach your work, you'll fit right in at Addi House.
Addi House is a boutique, self-licensed financial planning practice based on the Gold Coast. We work closely with high-income professionals, retirees and business owners under long-term advice relationships, providing strategic, personalised advice that puts our clients' interests first.
Our practice is built on genuine relationships, technical excellence and exceptional client service. We deliberately focus on quality over quantity, taking the time to understand each client's goals and delivering advice that is practical, thoughtful and easy to understand.
As an independent practice, our recommendations are driven solely by what is in our clients' best interests. We're proud of the culture we've built and the long-term relationships we've developed with our clients.
Work Directly with Our Practice Principal
You’ll work closely with Kearsten James, founder and Practice Principal of Addi House.

One of the things Kearsten enjoys most is helping people develop.
Rather than sitting in a large office where your role is limited to one small part of the advice process, you'll receive hands‑on mentoring and gain exposure to every aspect of delivering exceptional financial advice and client service.
If you're someone who enjoys learning, asking questions and continually improving, you'll be supported to develop your skills while making a meaningful contribution to the practice.

You’ll receive hands‑on mentoring, gain broad exposure across client service and advice support, and develop practical skills and technical knowledge that will support a rewarding long‑term career in financial planning.
As the practice grows, there will be opportunities to continue developing your skills and take on greater responsibility in areas that align with both your strengths and the needs of the business.

- Salary of $70,000–$90,000 plus super, depending on experience.
