This time limited role focuses on advanced neuropsychological assessment and intervention to children and young people diagnosed with oncological or haematological conditions within a specialist multidisciplinary team.

About the Role/n

Grade 3 Neuropsychologist – fixed term part‑time (multiple positions available) based at Monash Children’s Hospital, Clayton. The role includes:

/n

/n

- Deliver advanced paediatric neuropsychological assessment across the cancer care continuum, including baseline, post‑treatment and longitudinal follow‑up

/n

- Provide clear, timely neuropsychological reports and feedback to families, clinicians, schools and external agencies

/n

- Develop and implement evidence‑based, individualised interventions addressing cognition, learning, behaviour, fatigue and emotional wellbeing associated with cancer and related treatments

/n

- Support school re‑entry, family engagement, discharge planning and referral to ongoing neuropsychological supports including NDIS and disability inclusion as appropriate

/n

- Engage in research

/n

- Contribute to specialist consultation, supervision, education, and service development activities

/n About You/n

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated neuropsychologist with the following qualifications and experience:

/n

/n





- Strong interest or experience in paediatric oncology and haematology or working with young people with serious health/medical conditions and diagnoses

/n

- Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology and a minimum of five years’ experience as a registered psychologist at Grade 2 level (or equivalent)

/n

- Board‑approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia or eligible to undergo training within six months of commencing the role

/n

- A collaborative team player who values partnership, shared expertise and works closely within a multidisciplinary team
