My client is a major government services provider in NSW currently undertaking a large-scale modernisation of their core business platforms. They are looking for a hybrid Project Manager / Scrum Master to join their EPMO and act as stream lead for key initiatives across their technology roadmap.

This is a hands-on delivery role balancing structured project management, vendor oversight, and practical Scrum execution. You will work closely with internal ICT teams, operational leads, and external delivery partners to deliver complex system upgrades without disrupting day-to-day operations in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of core technology roadmap projects from planning through to production release.
- Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional ICT teams, operational stakeholders, and external vendors to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain rigorous project governance, risk management, scope control,



and status reporting within the EPMO framework.
- Ensure clear requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation are produced across the project lifecycle.

Ideal Background

- Proven track record delivering complex ICT modernisation projects involving system upgrades, AWS cloud, and API integration.
- Robust dual capability in structured project management principles alongside hands-on Scrum Master execution.
- Direct experience managing external vendors, managed service providers, and multi-team technical dependencies.
- Experience working within regulated environments or complex government service delivery structures.
