About the role:
An exceptional leadership opportunity exists for an experienced and strategic healthcare leader to join GV Health as the Divisional Operations Director Women's, Children's & Director of Midwifery.
This influential dual-role position provides both operational leadership across Women's, Children's and Maternity Services and professional leadership for midwifery practice across GV Health. Working in close partnership with Clinical Directors and executive leaders, you will drive service excellence, operational performance, quality improvement and strategic growth to ensure the delivery of safe, sustainable and person-centred care.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee divisional performance, lead service planning and innovation, manage risk, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance patient, consumer and workforce outcomes. You will also support the Chief Operating Officer in delivering strategic priorities and advancing clinical services across the portfolio.
In your capacity as Director of Midwifery, you will serve as the organisation's Senior Midwifery Officer, providing professional, clinical and strategic leadership for the midwifery workforce. You will promote evidence-based practice, woman-centred care, strong skilled governance and workforce capability, while partnering with the Chief Nursing & Midwifery Officer to strengthen accountability and excellence in midwifery practice across GV Health.
