About the Role
As a Car Park Officer at South Bank Corporation, you're the first and last point of contact for our visitors. You'll keep the precinct moving, safe, and welcoming by combining exceptional customer service with hands-on facility maintenance and access system management.
What You'll Do
Provide friendly, professional service in person and over the phone. Assist patrons, resolve issues quickly, and assist during emergencies or first-aid situations.
Maintain smooth entry/exit traffic flow. Keep the car park clean (including operating ride-on cleaning equipment) and ensure safety signage is in place.
Conduct inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting on pay machines, access barriers, card readers, and cameras. Work with vendors for technical issues when needed.
Monitor CCTV systems, enforce parking rules, track overnight/long-stay vehicles, and log incidents or violations into the Incident Management System.
What We're Looking For
Active Manual Driver's License (Essential)
Proven customer service and strong oral communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and make quick decisions under pressure
Basic computer skills & a solution-focused, safety-first mindset
A positive, adaptable "can-do" attitude ready for a busy environment
