About the Team
This role will support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor External Engagement & Partnerships. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement and Partnerships) is responsible for deepening and expanding UTS's relationships with the public and private sectors, and driving the development of partnerships, collaborations and ventures that create real value and impact. The External Engagement and Partnerships Division focuses on enhancing UTS's relationships and collaboration with the public and private sectors. Key functions include Industry Partnerships, Enterprise Learning, Entrepreneurship, Alumni and Advancement, and Marketing and Communications. It aims to provide a holistic, connected strategic approach to the university's interactions with the broader world, and to enable and support a culture of mutually beneficial collaboration with government, business and industry at all levels.
Job purpose
The Senior Executive Assistant provides high level, proactive executive support to a senior leader in the EEP division.
The role coordinates complex workflows, supports strategic priorities and enables effective decision making in a dynamic environment.
Detailed Description
Role responsibilities
Provide end to end executive support aligned to strategic priorities.
Manage complex diaries, meetings and associated logistics.
Coordinate briefings, correspondence, reports and presentations.
Support governance processes, committees and reporting cycles.
Coordinate projects, initiatives and cross portfolio activities.
Act as a central point of contact for complex and sensitive enquiries.
Skills, attributes and knowledge
Advanced organisational and prioritisation skills.
Solid written and interpersonal communication skills.
Sound judgement, discretion and problem -solving capability.
Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
Understanding of executive office operations and governance processes.
Experience
Experience providing senior executive level support in a complex organisation.
Experience coordinating workflows, projects or executive office functions.
Experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Degree level qualification or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Remuneration/Salary
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $109,014.00 - $120,596.00 (HEW7) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
