BDSS is a growing Western Australian manufacturer of commercial furniture and cabinetry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Factory Supervisor to join our team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that would suit a cabinet maker, CNC operator, leading hand, or manufacturing team member looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role

Working closely with the Production Manager, you will assist in coordinating daily factory operations while remaining actively involved on the factory floor. This is not a desk‑based role – you will lead by example, support production teams, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating workflow across CNC, edging, assembly, and dispatch.
Assisting with machine setup, troubleshooting, and production activities.
Supporting production teams to achieve daily targets.
Monitoring product quality and workmanship.
Assisting with staff training and development.
Promoting and maintaining a safe work setting.
Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.

Communicating effectively with production staff and management.

About You

To be successful in this role,



you will have:

Experience in furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, or a similar industry.
Knowledge of CNC machinery, edge banders, panel saws, or related equipment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to lead by example and work alongside the team.
A practical, hands‑on approach to problem solving.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Previous supervisory experience is advantageous. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and leadership potential.
