The role of Lecturer, Construction Management will lead the design, delivery and review of Construction Management courses at UNSW Built Environment.
The role reports to the Discipline Director of Construction Management and Property and has no direct reports. Salary, Level B

- $127,947 - $150,830 per annum + 17% superannuation (Pro Rata)Part Time (7 hours

Skills & ExperienceA PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant professional experience in construction industryA Registered Building Practitioner (as per D&BP; Act) and preferably holds a Builders Licence Demonstrated commitment to maintaining current industry knowledge and staying abreast of emerging trends, innovations,



and best practices in construction management and building industry Demonstrated experience engaging with qualified bodies, and the broader industry, in relation to building industry (such as AIB, CIOB, AIQS, RICS, etc)Demonstrated industry experience, including mentoring students and supporting cadetship and internship programs (desirable)Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods (desired)Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
