Job Description

As the Digital Content Coordinator, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and broader team to implement Townsville Enterprise's content strategy across all digital channels.

- Implementing content strategy across social media, websites, EDMs and campaigns
- Managing and scheduling social media content calendars and publishing
- Producing engaging written, visual and video content
- Coordinating influencer collaborations, familiarisation tours and content delivery
- Creating and sourcing photography and videography assets
- Managing and maintaining the organisation's digital asset library
- Supporting major marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Tracking and reporting on digital performance, reach and ROI
- Collaborating with industry, government and regional stakeholders

About the Candidate

Townsville Enterprise is seeking a creative and driven Digital Content Coordinator to join our Visitor Economy & Marketing team in a full‑time role supporting the promotion of Townsville North Queensland.

This hands‑on, fast‑paced role will suit someone who thrives on creating engaging digital content and enjoys working across multiple platforms, campaigns and stakeholders. You will play a key role in bringing our region to life through compelling storytelling, visual content and strategic digital execution.

You will bring





- Experience in content creation, social media management and digital marketing
- Strong writing, storytelling and editing skills
- Skills in photography, videography and/or graphic design
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Cap Cut, Mailchimp and social platforms (Meta, Tik Tok)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A collaborative approach and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking performance and improving outcomes
- A current driver's licence

Desirable

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
- Blue card
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
