- Lead the implementation of one of Australia's most significant public sector reform agendas
- Drive enterprise-wide program management that will shape the future of the NDIS
- Locations: Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is the independent statutory agency responsible for implementing the world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), supporting eligible Australians with permanent and significant disability. After more than a decade of operation, the NDIS is in a major period of change, with a focus on improving participant experience, strengthening integrity and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.

The opportunity: This is a career defining opportunity to lead the implementation of one of Australia's largest and most complex public sector reform programs. As General Manager, Reform Implementation, you will provide strategic leadership for the NDIA's enterprise reform agenda, ensuring major policy reforms are successfully translated into practical, sustainable outcomes across the Agency and the Scheme.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Participant Experience and Service Design, you will oversee multiple concurrent reform initiatives that will fundamentally reshape how participants access and experience the NDIS. Working closely with the Agency's Executive Leadership Team, you will provide enterprise leadership across implementation planning, program governance, delivery assurance and strategic problem solving, bringing together policy, operational, technology and corporate perspectives to resolve complex implementation challenges.
You will also establish and strengthen the Agency's enterprise program management capability, providing independent assurance, disciplined governance and confidence that reform programs are being delivered effectively, sustainably and consistently with policy intent. Operating in a highly scrutinised environment, you will influence across organisational boundaries, maintain delivery momentum and support successful reform outcomes for participants, providers and the broader disability community.

The ideal candidate: You are an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience leading large-scale service delivery reform, enterprise transformation or complex program delivery within government or similarly regulated environments. You bring exceptional judgement, intellectual curiosity and the ability to navigate ambiguity while balancing strategic thinking with disciplined execution. You are recognised for your ability to synthesise complex issues, influence senior leaders and build consensus across highly matrixed organisations.
As a leader, you model resilience and foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. You build trusted relationships across organisational boundaries and inspire confidence through clear governance, sound judgement and disciplined delivery. Most importantly, you are motivated by improving outcomes for Australians with disability and contributing to the long-term sustainability of one of Australia's most significant social reforms.
