The Opportunity
Reporting into an experienced leader, you'll work across a broad range of Financial Crime activities while helping shape the future of the organisation's transaction monitoring capability.

A major focus of the role over the next 12 months will be supporting the implementation and optimisation of a new global transaction monitoring platform, working alongside local and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and investigate Transaction Monitoring alerts.
- Conduct AML investigations and escalate suspicious activity where appropriate.
- Prepare Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and other regulatory reporting.
- Support sanctions, PEP and customer risk assessments.
- Assist with tuning, optimisation and ongoing development of transaction monitoring scenarios.
- Contribute to implementation of a global AI-driven transaction monitoring platform.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and stronger financial crime controls.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders to continually strengthen the AML framework.

About You




You'll already possess hands-on Transaction Monitoring experience and be looking for an opportunity where you can broaden your career beyond traditional banking. Exposure to AML system implementation, monitoring rule optimisation or scenario development will be highly regarded.
