A fantatsic opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Services Manager overseeing the operations across the Hunter Valley.
Connect Cleaning Group provides a range of services across the Hunter and beyond and is looking for a Supervisor to lead and manager a team of cleaners and be a vital link between company and customer.
You must be available to work evening hours and be able to cover all days in the week including weekends when required as we operate 7 days a week.
Ideally you will have worked on an industrial site before and have completed an Order 43 Medical.
1.The successful canidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of cleaning incl:Assessing and deciding on the best cleaning plan/action to implement.Cleaning and maintaining hard floor surfaces.Cleaning and maintaining carpeted floors.Glass and window cleaning.Furniture, fittings and room cleaning.Cleaning and maintain wet areas.Cleaning and maintaining external surfaces.2. Responsible for providing guidance and assistance as part of the team and directing day to day activities of team members. This includes;Oversight of staffTraining and mentoring of staff.Participation in quality control activities such as cleaning audits.Rostering of staff so to ensure adequate cover as per the contracted requirement.Ensuring that all costs are maintained within the budgeted levels.Identifying new business opportunities3. Perform all activities in compliance with relevant WHS legislation and Connect Cleaning Group Safety Management Plan.4.
Ability and willingness to deal on a range of levels with the general public, and other clients in a polite and courteous manner in accordance with Connect Cleaning Group Policies and Procedures and Code of Conduct.5. Positive working knowledge of service equipment used in cleaning procedures.6. Good working knowledge of chemicals and other hazardous goods used in cleaning procedures.7. Ability to use a range of cleaning safely.8. Ability to work in physically demanding environments including heights.9. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment10. Show exceptional time management and planning skills.11. Use technology to manage client and property information, service bookings, source information, and communicate.12. Show exceptional customer service focusing on customer satisfaction.13. Undertake other duties as required.
Selection CriteriaEssential1. Previous experience in cleaning, in industrial and commercial environments.2. Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.3. Ability to problem solve.4. Knowledge of relevant Workplace Occupational Health and Safety requirements.5. Customer service focus.6. Certificate II in Cleaning Operations (or willingness to participate in training).7. Current valid driver’s license.
