SRV Engineering Pty Ltd is looking for a Testing Technician to join our workshop in Jandakot.
This is a hands-on role working with safety relief valves for customers across a range of industries. No previous valve testing experience is required – we'll provide full training to the right person.
We're looking for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys working with numbers, has excellent attention to detail, and is eager to learn. Over time, you'll be trained to become a NATA Endorsed Signatory, carrying out accredited testing and certification.
What you'll be doing
- Pop testing safety relief valves using specialised test equipment
- Recording, interpreting and verifying test results
- Tagging completed valves and fitting tamper-proof wire seals
- Preparing valves for dispatch
- Assisting with securing valves to transport frames and skids
- Operating a forklift to safely move valves around the workshop
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard
What we're looking for
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and interpreting measurements
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain one
- Previous workshop or manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential
