Job Description

We are looking for 100 horticultural labourers to undertake various tasks including orchard spray, weed spray, repair irrigation, prune, plant, general workshop maintenance, block detailing, orchard harvesting activities, general orchard duties, and sorting and packing around Robinvale (Victoria) and Swan Hill (Victoria). Number of Vacancies: 100 Work Commencement Date: October 2026 Duration: Nine months

Job Description: Tasks include orchard spray, weed spray, repair irrigation, prune, plant, general workshop maintenance, block detailing, orchard harvesting activities, general orchard duties, and sorting and packing. The work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in all weather conditions.

Successful applicants will need to source their accommodation and transport, as farms are up to 60km from the townships. To be successful in this role, you will:



Be motivated and able to learn quickly.

Have solid attention to detail. Be a results-driven team player. Appreciate the nature of the agriculture industry and working remotely.

Be available to work on day or night shifts as needed. Be available to be rostered from Monday to Sunday. Be able to commit to the role for the term set out above.

Work Conditions: Employment is on a casual basis under the Horticulture Award 2020 rates, either hourly or piece rate. A minimum average of 30 hours of work per week is guaranteed.

Duties include sweeping, pick up, bank out, telehandler, elevator, pruning and picking equipment (training provided), working in a team with others, and the ability to work quickly and with accuracy.
