Caley Roofing Services is seeking an Experienced Roof Plumber/Trainee to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. This position is offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced roof plumbers looking to develop their skills further and talented trainees eager to build a career in the roof plumbing trade. You will start in the Byford area for a large project, then onto sites across various commercial and industrial projects in the Perth area, contributing to the delivery of high-quality roofing and roof plumbing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Install a variety of metal roofing and cladding products.
- Work safely at heights and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and site requirements
- Measure, cut and fit materials to specifications, ensuring quality workmanship on every project
- Liaise with supervisors, other tradespeople and clients to ensure projects are completed to schedule and specification
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and assist with site cleanup and waste management
- Support training and development of junior team members where applicable
- Contribute to continuous improvement of work practices and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Current or pending roof plumbing qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in roof plumbing installation and maintenance. Self motivated and eager to learn trainee
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to job sites across Perth
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, including working at heights and on roofs
- Ability to take direction and problem solving attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude towards work and clients
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in both roof plumbing and general roofing practices
