We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated NBN Technician to join our growing team in Perth, Western Australia.

About the Role

This position involves a wide range of NBN infrastructure and customer connection works across residential, commercial, and MDU environments. The successful candidate will have solid experience in fibre installations, lead-ins, pit and pipe works, hauling, asbestos handling awareness, and fibre termination at customer premises.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and maintenance of NBN FTTP services
- Lead-in installations (aerial and underground)
- Pit and pipe construction and remediation works
- Hauling and cable installation
- MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) installations and fault rectification
- Fibre termination at customer premises (internal and external PCD/NTD installation)
- Fibre splicing, testing, and commissioning
- Fault finding and service restoration
- Assisting with asbestos-related pit remediation works in accordance with safety standards
- Ensuring all work complies with NBN standards, quality requirements, and WHS procedures
- Providing professional customer service on-site





Essential Requirements

- Proven experience in NBN fibre installations and telecommunications infrastructure
- Strong experience with:
- - Lead-ins
- Pit and pipe works
- Hauling
- Fibre termination at premises
- MDU works

- Experience with fibre splicing and testing equipment
- Robust understanding of NBN standards and procedures
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- NBN accreditation
- First Aid Certificate
- Asbestos awareness or asbestos removal certification
- Experience in both residential and commercial installations
- Civil or underground communications experience
