What’s on Offer
Westauz has recently been awarded several current projects and is looking for experience Underground Service/Project crew and Underground Leading Hand Projects personnel.
Both positions are permanent roles with Westauz on a FIFO roster of 8/6 from Perth or Kalgoorlie. The positions come with -
- Leading wage and bonus’
- Superannuation on total earnings
- Average earnings for annual leave

About the Role
Key skill sets we’re looking for are –
- Experience working underground & working in Underground Projects or Service Crew
- Experience managing small crews (for leading hand roles)
Ideally, you have the following experience -
- Installation of underground mining infrastructure such as underground pump stations, rising mains, escapeway ladderways, vent doors, DBR's, paste reticulation and secondary fans
- Experience operating rock drills
- Underground service crew experience
- Operating IT’s (Volvo)
Requirements
- Underground mining experience & Service Crew/Projects work (mandatory)

Candidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes a medical, drug and alcohol screening, valid driver’s licence, relevant right to work and valid Australian national police clearance.
