Production Manager - Harrison Kitchens and Cabinets

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our team at a dynamic custom kitchen and joinery company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in cabinetry and joinery, with excellent attention to detail, organisational abilities, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create production drawings and cutting lists for manufacture and installation based on architectural plans and specifications.

- Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.

- Problem-solve design and construction issues, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.

- Liaise with internal staff regarding design and construction, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

- Maintain clear communication with clients to meet their design needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure all hardware, materials, and tools are ordered and delivered on time.

- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines and ensuring tasks are completed in line with the production schedule.

- Manage factory operations, including staff, machinery, and maintenance schedules.

- Arrange for preventive maintenance or repair of machinery, liaising with technicians as needed to ensure minimal disruption to production.

- Monitor quality control throughout production, ensuring all outputs meet our high standards.

- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.

- Coordinate, attend and execute site check measures.

- Implement and refine processes for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

- Experience with Cabinet Vision and S2M software.

- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, setting out, and solving production-related issues.





- Strong ability to understand and interpret architectural plans and specifications.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

- High attention to detail and ability to ensure quality across all stages of production.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients, staff, and suppliers.

- Initiative and problem-solving skills to handle the complexities of custom designs.

- A solid understanding of joinery and cabinetry trade, including knowledge of industry products and materials.

- Experience managing a production team and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment.

- Flexibility to adapt to changes in design, unexpected challenges, and client requests.
