We are seeking experienced Crane Operators/Riggers to join the team at Zeus Cranes Pty Ltd in Molendinar, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of cranes on construction sites. This is a crucial role that contributes directly to the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
- Operate cranes & Rig Cranes of various sizes and capacities to lift, move and position materials, equipment and other loads on construction sites
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintain detailed logs of crane usage and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with site managers, riggers and other workers to coordinate crane operations
- Ensure all lifting operations are carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Assist with the set-up and dismantling of crane equipment as required
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced crane operators
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification as a Certified Crane Operator/ Riggers, with a minimum of 3 years' experience operating a variety of cranes in a construction setting
- Strong understanding of crane operating principles, load capacities and rigging techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, including overtime, to meet project demands
- Valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of heavy vehicles
