About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator to join the manufacturing team at Everclear Windows and Doors. This is a full-time position based in South Windsor NSW 2756. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise fabrication, assembly and finishing of aluminium windows and doors to the highest standards. You will play a crucial part in our production process, ensuring that every product meets our quality specifications and customer expectations. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern manufacturing equipment whilst contributing to a well-established business in the construction materials industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Fabricating aluminium window and door frames using specialised cutting, joining and assembly equipment

2. Measuring and cutting aluminium components to precise specifications using technical drawings and measurements

3. Assembling frames and components, ensuring all joints are secure and meet quality standards

4. Performing welding, riveting or other joining techniques as required for frame construction

5. Installing glass, seals and hardware into completed frames

6. Conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and industry standards

7. Operating and maintaining fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently

8. Following all health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

9. Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

10. Keeping work areas clean and organised, and maintaining inventory of materials

What we're looking for

1. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to precise measurements and specifications

2. Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards

3. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

4. A commitment to health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment

5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

6. Reliability and a strong work ethic

7. Desirable:



Experience with aluminium window and door fabrication or similar assembly and process work

8. Desirable: Experience with aluminium anodising, powder coating or window sealing processes

9. Desirable: Knowledge of aluminium materials, joining techniques and quality standards relevant to the industry

10. Desirable: Welding certification or relevant technical qualifications

11. Desirable: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

12. Desirable: Competence in using fabrication machinery such as saws, presses, welders and assembly equipment
