About the Role
As an Employment Consultant, you'll work closely with job seekers from diverse backgrounds, providing personalised support and guidance to help them achieve long-term employment outcomes. You'll also collaborate with local employers across the Riverland region to create opportunities that benefit both businesses and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one coaching, motivation, and tailored employment support
- Develop customised job plans, including training and upskilling pathways
- Connect job seekers with sustainable employment opportunities
- Build strong relationships with local employers to source vacancies
- Deliver post-placement support to ensure ongoing success
- Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements under Workforce Australia
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting people and making a difference
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work with people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills
- Goal-driven mindset with the ability to meet targets
- Experience in employment services, recruitment, or community services (desirable, not essential)
