Kempsey Nissan is expanding our workshop team and we’re looking for a qualified Service Technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive, high‑performing crew.
About the role:

As a Service Technician at Kempsey Nissan, you will:

- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of Nissan vehicles

- Use modern diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer‑approved processes

- Deliver high‑quality workmanship with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction

- Work collaboratively with our Service Advisors and Workshop Controller

- Maintain accurate records and uphold Nissan’s service standards

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles

- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components

- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to workshop foreman

- Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians

- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range





- Maintaining a secure working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment

- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests

- Providing high level guest service to the dealership’s guests

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle or equivalent)

- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills

- Experience with modern vehicle systems and technology

- A positive attitude and commitment to great customer service

- Current driver’s licence

- Nissan experience is a bonus, but not essential
