The Rural and Remote Mental Health Program delivers specialist mental health and alcohol and other drug services to communities across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service region. Working across multidisciplinary teams located in Palm Island, Ingham, the Burdekin and Charters Towers, the service supports consumers of all ages experiencing complex and severe mental health and alcohol and other drug concerns.
As the Therapeutic Interventions Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions across rural and remote mental health services. Based in Townsville, you will provide specialist clinical consultation and support to clinicians working across four community mental health teams, while contributing to the management of consumers with complex presentations.
This is an opportunity to influence service delivery at a regional level through the development, coordination and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic intervention programs. You will lead the delivery of education, training and clinical support to clinicians, helping build capability in therapeutic approaches across the lifespan, including interventions for complex trauma.
Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
