Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of a well-established and growing retail and trade business based in Cairns.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building customer relationships, developing staff, driving sales, and achieving business growth. We are looking for someone who leads by example, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including sales, customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency. You will have the autonomy to grow the business while being supported by an experienced management team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop a small team of staff.

- Drive branch sales growth and profitability.

- Build strong relationships with retail, trade and commercial customers.

- Identify new business opportunities and actively generate new sales.

- Ensure outstanding customer service standards are maintained.

- Manage daily branch operations, stock control and presentation.

- Monitor branch performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

- Maintain a safe, organised and productive workplace.

About You





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proven experience in a Branch Manager, Store Manager or Operations Manager role.

- A strong background in sales and business development.

- Demonstrated ability to grow sales and improve business performance.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills.

- Experience coaching and mentoring staff.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- High level of motivation, initiative and accountability.

- Current Australian driver's licence.
