We're a growing modular and prefabricated construction business building accommodation and fit-out solutions for large-scale projects. Our modules are manufactured in China and must meet Australian standards — so we're looking for an Australian-licensed electrician to work on a swing roster at our China facility in a supervisory role, overseeing the factory team and making sure all electrical work meets AS/NZS compliance before modules ship to site.
This is a step up for a licensed sparkie who wants to lead rather than swing the tools all day — directing and mentoring the local production team, driving quality and compliance, and being the trusted set of Australian eyes on the floor. Visas, flights, accommodation and meals are all taken care of.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising and overseeing the factory team's electrical installation on modular units
- Ensuring all work meets Australian AS/NZS standards and certification requirements
- Inspecting, quality-checking and signing off electrical work before modules ship
- Directing,
mentoring and upskilling the local production team on Australian standards and finish
- Working to production schedules and flagging issues early
- Maintaining compliance, documentation and safety on the floor
What you'll bring
- Current, valid Australian electrical licence
- Supervisory, leading-hand or QA experience (or the maturity to step into it)
- Solid experience in construction, fit-out or modular/prefab work
- A valid passport (min. 6 months validity) and willingness to work a FIFO swing roster in China — we arrange and pay for all work visas and permits
- Mandarin speaking an advantage
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
