About the role

Miss Meticulous is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Hervey Bay, QLD 4655 and offers flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our client properties. Your work will directly contribute to creating clean, welcoming environments that reflect our commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

- Performing general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces throughout client properties

- Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms, kitchens and other specialised areas to the highest standards

- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment safely and effectively

- Following established cleaning checklists and procedures to ensure consistency and quality

- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning sessions

- Restocking cleaning supplies and notifying management when supplies are running low

- Responding professionally to client requests and feedback

- Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a cleaning or similar service role, or demonstrated commitment to learning cleaning best practices

- Strong attention to detail with a genuine commitment to high-quality work

- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

- Excellent communication skills and a skilled, courteous manner when interacting with clients and team members

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to adapt to casual scheduling





- A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take initiative

- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, their uses and safety precautions is advantageous
