Kennedy Bay Medical Centre is seeking a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy, well‑established General Practice in Port Kennedy. This role will initially commence as a casual position, with part‑time employment considered for the right candidate. Hours are fully negotiable. As a Practice Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our GPs, Practice Manager, Administration team and Allied Health professionals to deliver exceptional, patient‑centred care to individuals and families in our community.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Coordinating and delivering patient care, including clinical assessments, medication administration and health education

- Preparing examination rooms, sterilising equipment and maintaining medical supplies

- Conducting routine screening tests such as blood pressure, blood glucose and ECG monitoring

- Providing immunisations and managing vaccine storage and cold chain processes

- Documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate medical records

- Collaborating with the healthcare team to support smooth and efficient practice operations





What We’re Looking For

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience in General Practice is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate

- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities

- A caring, cooperative approach to patient care

- Experience with Best Practice software is an advantage but not essential
