We're looking for 2x Labourers and 1x Ganger (Leading Hand) to join our Wastewater Services Team!

Salary Range:

- Labourer: $89,449.07 per annum (incl. base salary $65,074.87 p.a + applicable allowances paid based on hours worked)

- Ganger: $99,966.14 per annum (incl. base salary of $69,491.62 p.a + applicable allowances paid based on hours worked)

Position Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: 8 MacNamara Street, Cairns

Join our Wastewater Team to play a vital role in maintaining our community’s wastewater reticulation network!

Whether you're a Labourer or a Ganger taking the lead, you’ll support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of Council’s sewerage network. Working alongside experienced crew members, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of tasks - from clearing blockages, lateral connections and assisting with installations, to inspections and investigations across the network.

Be ready to respond when urgent issues arise – including after-hour callouts.
