This opportunity has arisen due to an internal transfer.

The role and key responsibilities

Based at our Maryland (Newcastle), NSW depot and reporting to the National Transport Manager, you'll join a small, experienced and supportive operations team responsible for coordinating the safe and efficient movement of bulk fuel across our transport network.

Working in a fast-paced logistics environment, you'll liaise closely with customers, senior management, contract managers, drivers, maintenance personnel and safety & compliance teams to ensure fuel deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

Your day to day will include:

- Schedule and allocate bulk fuel transport tasks across a busy operational network.

- Coordinate daily logistics activities to maximise fleet utilisation and customer service outcomes.

- Liaise with customers,



drivers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and respond to changing priorities.

- Ensure transport activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

- Assist in maintaining high levels of service delivery through effective planning and communication.

- Participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster to support breakdowns, urgent customer requests and driver enquiries.

- Provide operational support on public holidays as part of a shared coverage arrangement.

About you

- Previous experience in transport, logistics or fleet scheduling, preferably within a fast-paced operational environment.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with a broad range of stakeholders.

- Sound knowledge of the Newcastle region and surrounding areas.

- Current driver's licence.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a safety and compliance-focused environment.

Experience in bulk fuel transport, dangerous goods transport or heavy vehicle logistics will be highly regarded but is not essential.
