ASCO's core business is providing materials management and logistics services to the Oil & Gas industry. In Western Australia we service our clients through the provision of Supply Base and associated materials management services & logistics services as well as both fixed and mobile camp services.

A new and exciting opportunity exists for a agile, highly motivated, experienced Supply Base Operator / Yard Person to join our team in Welshpool. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our supply base, supporting the receipt, storage, handling and movement of materials while delivering excellent service to our clients.

What your role at ASCO will look like:

- Receive, inspect and store incoming materials and equipment

- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time

- Load and unload trucks, trailers and containers in accordance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (2.5T to 16T forklift operations)

- Assist with inventory control, stocktakes and cycle counts

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard environment

- Drive the company vehicle to conduct local deliveries and pickups as instructed by the Transport Coordinator

- Complete required paperwork and basic administrative taks

- Report equipment faults and safety hazards





- Contribute to a positive safety culture and uphold ASCO's operational standards.

What you can bring to ASCO:

- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, transport or supply base environment

- Current forklift licence (Experience with Aislemaster is preferred)

- Experience in moving casing and pipe racks (Desirable)

- A team player and demonstrate behaviours in line with ASCO’s Values

- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic

- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

- Honest, reliable and consistent

- Basic computer competencies (Excel preferrable)

Minimum Qualifications:

- Forklift licence

- Current C Class driver's licence

- Current HR driver's licence (Desirable)
