Forge Solutions are looking for a Preconstruction Manager to lead their national bid function - owning strategy, pipeline management and submission delivery across Disaster Management, Energy and Modular Construction.

The Opportunity
This is very much a strategy-led role. Less about writing bids yourself and more about shaping how the business wins work.
You'll take ownership of the national tender pipeline, lead bid/no-bid decisions, develop winning strategies, influence commercial positioning and provide leadership to bid and estimating teams. You'll work closely with senior leadership to drive growth across Forge's expanding service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the national bid function from opportunity identification through to submission and debrief
- Drive bid strategy, win themes and pursuit planning
- Own pipeline visibility and reporting across the business
- Lead bid/no-bid decisions aligned to growth strategy
- Influence pricing strategy and commercial positioning
- Coordinate bid teams including estimators, bid coordinators and external consultants
- Develop key client, consultant and industry relationships
- Improve bid quality,
consistency and overall win rates nationally
What's Required
We're interested in speaking with professionals who bring:
- 7+ years' experience in preconstruction, business development or senior tendering roles
- A strong background within construction, infrastructure or related industries
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary bid teams and complex submissions
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Experience within disaster management, energy/electrical infrastructure or modular construction will be highly regarded.
