We are seeking a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team at Glenwood Logistics Pty Ltd t/as Adelaide Contract Warehousing. As a MC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of goods to and from NSW. This is a crucial role that supports the overall operations of our road transport business.
What you'll be doing
- Operate B Double vehicles (MC class) to transport and deliver goods from depot to depot.
- Conduct pre-departure checks and maintain vehicle logs in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods at delivery sites
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant traffic laws and driving regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required
- Report any issues or incidents to the management team
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle
What we're looking for
- A valid MC class driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving
- Extensive experience (minimum 2 years)
driving large commercial vehicles in a road transport or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
