Overview

As an experienced Area Manager, you will oversee multiple early childhood education centres across Melbourne's West suburbs, ensuring operational excellence and delivering the best outcomes for children, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of multiple centres within your region
- Lead, mentor, and inspire Centre Managers and their teams
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures
- Drive performance, quality, and engagement across your centres
- Foster a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with families, team, and the wider community

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a multi‑site leadership role (Area Manager, Cluster Manager, Operations Manager, or similar)
- Robust knowledge of early childhood education and care regulations




- Exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others
- A results‑driven mindset, balancing compliance, quality, and commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resilience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to safety
- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement
